Scheepswerf Bijlsma built the bulb and several ring sections and for the construction of a hopper dredger named the Charlock, for client Barkmeijer Stroobos. Barkmeijer has commissioned this assignment to our shipyard so that the processing time of the total ship was shortened. The sections have been transported over water to Stroobos. This transportation route gave a spectacular sight as shown on the pictures. At Stroobos, the sections were assembled into one complete ship.
