New building
Work pontoon Marine Harvest in Scotland
In cooperation with Nauplius Workboats, we have delivered a 2511 Hydrolicer barge to Marine Harvest Scotland. This floating work platform will serve as a working platform for salmon farms.
The pontoon is equipped with two AK34 hydraulic cranes. Fish pumps are installed on this barge so that lice can be removed from the salmon in an environmentally friendly manner, i.e. without chemicals. The fish swim through the system and the water jet rinses the lice from the fish.
During the construction of this ship, the biggest challenge was to exclude contamination, which is a very important aspect for boats working in fish farming.
